1. Your deletion rights
You can ask Velox AI to delete personal information we hold about you. This page explains what we may hold, how to submit a request, and what happens next. Depending on where you live, you may also have additional rights described in our Privacy Policy.
2. Information we may hold
Depending on how you have interacted with us, we may hold:
- Your name, email address, and company name from an early access or contact form.
- The message, project challenge, or topic you submitted.
- Your newsletter subscription information, including your first name and email address.
- Correspondence with us about your request.
- Standard web server logs that may contain your IP address, browser information, and request timestamps.
3. How to submit a request
Email privacy@velox.ai with the subject line "Data Deletion Request." If you cannot use that address, email hello@velox.ai.
Please include:
- The name and email address you used with us.
- Any company name associated with your submission.
- What you want deleted (for example, an early access request, contact message, or newsletter subscription).
- Whether you want us to delete all information or only specific items.
Do not include government identification numbers, financial account numbers, health information, passwords, or other sensitive information in your request.
4. What happens next
We will acknowledge your request within 10 business days. We may ask for information to verify your identity and to confirm the scope of the request. After verification, we will delete the requested information within 45 days, unless we need more time. If we need an extension, we will tell you why. We will confirm when the request is complete.
5. Information we may retain
We may retain limited information when required or permitted by law, including for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, security, or legal claims. We may also retain aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be linked to you. Residual copies may remain in backups for a limited period until those backups are overwritten or deleted in the ordinary course.
6. Newsletter subscriptions
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the unsubscribe link in any newsletter email, or by emailing privacy@velox.ai. Unsubscribing stops future newsletters. A deletion request will also remove your newsletter subscription information, except for a minimal suppression record needed to honor your opt-out.
7. Authorized agents
If you are an authorized agent submitting a request on behalf of someone else, email privacy@velox.ai and include proof of your authority. We may contact the individual to verify the request.
8. Fees
We will not charge a fee to process a verifiable deletion request unless the law permits a fee for excessive or repetitive requests.
